Aldridge hired architects Richard Requa and Herbert Louis Jackson to draw plans to create major additions to a small cottage at 801 Tolita Avenue. In 1947 that property, 801 Tolita Avenue, was sold by Mrs. Daisy Aldridge to Eleanor and Stan Ring.
